Create Mobile App "HelloWorld"

 

Chapter Overview

 
In this training chapter you will create the Mobile App "HelloWorld", which consists of a Start Event, two UI Pages and an Exit Event and configure the main properties of the model.
 
Remark: A Mobile App can be executed from any browser and installed at the home screen of your smart device without using any app store

Exercise

 
In this exercise you will create a mobile app "HelloWorld" model and add the configuration.
 
 
Exercise 1: Create mobile app model "HelloWorld"
 
  • Step 1: Right click on folder "Automation/Service/Training" in the model tree to open context menu
  • Step 2: Select menu function "Create Frontend Service" to open dialog "Create Frontend Service Model"
  • Step 3: Enter model name "HelloWorld", select option "Model Type: Mobile App" and click button "Search Template" to open dialog "Select Template"

  • Step 4: Double click to select template "BasicUserPageFlow" or click button "Select" then click button "OK"
 
 
 
 
 
Exercise 2: Configure app model "HelloWorld"
 
  • Step 5: On TAB "General", SubTAB "Mobile App Configuration" enter Short Name "HelloWorld"

  • Step 6: Click button for icon 192x192px to open dialog "Select Image". This dialog displays images from Basic Components.

  • Step 7: Select image for icon "HelloWorld192px" and click button "Select"

  • Step 8: Repeat Step 7 and select image "HelloWorld512px" for icon 512x512
 
  • Step 9: Enter App Alias "helloworld" for the URL to directly call the mobile app

  • Step 10: Open Sub TAB "Login Dialog & Support Email" to configure the login dialog of the application and click at icon button to open dialog "Select Image"

  • Step 12: Click on color button and select "turquoise" color for the title color and "black" color for the title background
