The Backend Service Model type of the xAPPnow Low Code platform includes the subtypes:

The graphic below displays typical use cases and the corresponding backend service root models as well as possible child models.
A backend service model subtype "Submodel" or "Dynamic Backend Service" can be used to detail the server-side business logic of a Script Task of a BPMN model type. A "Dynamic Backend Service" can also be published into User Portal to be called from a frontend service model. It may consist also of scripts and connectors elements. The "REST End Point" provides access for external systems to the application created with the xAPPnow Low Code Platfrom.
