Frequently Asked Questions
Is everything included to develop my apps?
The xAPPnow Modeling Studio, the xAPPnow User Portal and the Runtime are always included in all editions.
All functions required for the development of an application, the digitalization of a process or the implementation of a mobile app are always available. Only the add-on features are only available from the Enterprise version onwards:

How many apps can I develop?
The number of applications developed is unlimited (with the exception of the Community and Professional Editions). You can implement and deploy as many applications as you need.
What does the upgrade package for end users look like?
You can order an additional upgrade package with 10 internal users and 1,000 external end users. Please contact us regarding the discount scale.
Is the Community Edition free of charge and what is included?
Everything included in the Community Edition is completely free to use. It is hosted in shared instances in our cloud, while you are limited to 10 GB of storage space and 100 processes and applications.
Can I use my own cloud or install it on-premise?
The Community and Professional Editions are made available on our Managed Appollo Cloud. The Enterprise and Ultimate Editions can be installed in the Managed Appollo Cloud, in your private cloud or even on-premise.
Can I book additional options, e.g. for a specific SLA?
Yes, if you require a specific SLA or want an additional domain or environment, this is marked as an "upgrade" or "option" in our prices.
What is the difference between an external and an internal user?
An internal user is a user who is employed by your company and is registered as an end user of one of the applications you have created. In contrast, an external user is not employed by your company, but is a registered end user of one of the applications you have created.
What is a dedicated system?
A dedicated system means that you get your own instances of Appollo Modeling Studio, Appollo User Portal and Runtime without sharing them with other customers.
When should I switch to a different edition?
You can upgrade to a higher version at any time and we will take care of the migration of all your data. An upgrade may be necessary if a higher SLA is required or the number of environments is to be increased.
