Chapter Overview

In this training chapter you get familiar with the responsive design technology of UI pages, which supports any device.

By default, the responsive design technology detects the current device and inserts auto line breaks after a span, depending on the screen width. In general this could be acceptable but in many cases the look&feel is insufficient. For this reason the xAPPnow Low Code Platfrom provides the possibility to enhance the user experience by NO-Code for all kind of devices:

  • configure line breaks using hidden spans
  • configure span width to reorganize the row

to enhance the user experience by NO-Code for all kind of devices.

The following screen shots demonstrate the responsive design technology using auto line breaks and manually inserted line breaks based on the responsive configuration of the xAPPnow platform.
