Working with Models - Reference Models and Project Levels

 
 
The xAPPnow Low Code Platform covers all phases of the application life cycle. It allows a modeling separation into 4 levels within one project. All levels are containing the same number of model types.
 
  • Level Innovation
The level Innovation should be used to start modeling first concepts, visions and strategic ideas.
 
  • Level Analysis
The level Analysis should be used for a detailed business analysis and prototyping.
 
  • Level Automation
The level Automation should be used for creating executable applications.
 
  • Level Test
                              The level Test should be used to automatically test the models of level automation.
 
 
Reference Models
 
  • Models of level Innovation can reference models of level Analysis.
  • Models of level Analysis can reference models of level Innovation and Automation.
  • Models of level Automation can reference models of level Analysis.
  • Models of level Test don't have reference to other models level.
 
 
Linking Reference Models
 
The following steps demonstrate how to link models of level Automation and level Analysis. After models have a reference link, you can navigate directly between such models by using the toolbar buttons

Open search dialog

1. Open search dialog
Click the search button to open the "Select Analysis Model" dialog. This dialog displays the available reference models of level Analysis.

Select the reference model of level Analysis with double click.

Use the reference model navigation buttons to navigate between referenced models.
