xAPPnow Low Code Platform - Docker Installation

 
This topic contains the commands which are needed for the Docker Installation of the xAPPnow Low Code Platform.
 
apt-get install aptitude
aptitude install apt-transport-https ca-certificates curl gnupg-agent software-properties-common
 
  • Import the repository’s GPG key
curl -fsSL https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu/gpg | sudo gpg --dearmor -o /usr/share/keyrings/docker-archive-keyring.gpg
 
  • Add the Docker APT repository to your system
echo \
"deb [arch=amd64 signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/docker-archive-keyring.gpg] https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu \$(lsb_release -cs) stable" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/docker.list > /dev/null
 
  • Install docker
apt update
aptitude install docker-ce docker-ce-cli containerd.io
 
  • Allow appollo user to run docker commands (Needed for deploying containers with Jenkins)
usermod -aG docker appollo
chmod 666 /var/run/docker.sock
 
  • Download and install docker-compose with following commands
curl -L "https://github.com/docker/compose/releases/download/1.27.4/docker-compose-$(uname -s)-$(uname -m)" -o /usr/local/bin/docker-compose
chmod +x /usr/local/bin/docker-compose
