BPMN Advanced Training: Parallel Gateway

 
This low-code tutorial demonstrates the usage of a BPMN Parallel Gateway. The following sample describes a User Registration process. The registration request will be approved in case the user has reached the legal age (checked after first flow) and has a Gmail Account (checked after second flow), both flows will be followed for this case. It consists of one business processes, called "UserRegistration" which execute the following process steps:
 
  • UserRegistration:
  • The “UserRegistration” process uses a Parallel Gateway. In the first flow the user will reach the legal age, the hasReachedLegalAge attribute is set to True.
  • The second flow for user has a Gmail Account, the hasGmailAccount attribute is set to True.
  • Finally, in the View Registration Result, the registration request is approved if the user has reached the legal age and has a Gmail account, if conditions are not satisfied, the registration request is denied.
