Programming BPMN Conditional Flow

 
 
This topic describes the Flow Condition Sub TAB of a BPMN Conditional Flow on Implementation TAB.
 
The xAPPnow Low Code Platform provides the following programming possibilities for a BPMN Conditional Flow:
 
  • Expert Mode: possibility to enter the script in the expert mode
  • Expression Script Area: dependent on the selected mode, a different scripting area for the expression is displayed
 
Outgoing Conditional Flows from an Exclusive or Inclusive Gateway require a flow condition. Moreover, BPMN Tasks have the possibility to have outgoing conditional flows, which also must have a flow condition. The flow is chosen in case the entered expression evaluates to true.

Check this option to have the possibility to enter any script for a condition flow. Caution: This script must always result in a boolean value to be executed correctly.
