BPMN Receive Task - xAPPnow Low Code Platform

This topic describes the Implementation TAB used for the configuration of the BPMN Receive Task element.

The BPMN Receive Task element of the xAPPnow Low Code Platform has the following SubTABs for programming and configuration.

A BPMN Receive Task is used to receive messages from another process or system. This task is marked with a small white letter icon in the upper left corner. For the visualization of the message flows, the BPMN Receive Task may draw a Message Receive Flow, which is connected to the message sender, e.g. a collapsed pool. A BPMN Message is unicast, that means a message is consumed by its receiver and therefore each message ID can only be used inside one Process Definition as recipient. In contrary, the message ID can be used to send messages from different process definitions and instances.
