A BPMN Lane Element can be moved up and down, while the current layout structure is smartly modified accordingly.

Steps to move lanes

Select lane

Select a lane at the label position with left mouse click.

Drag lane

Drag the lane with the mouse while left mouse button is pressed.

Drop lane

Release the mouse button at the new lane position. The connection layout is inverted according to the previous layout.
